EAP in Ireland aims to give everyone the space to share perspectives and experiences within EAP as well as share best practices and research. They hope to facilitate bridging the gap between research and practice by creating a community for those who are involved with academic English within Ireland in any capacity.

EAP in Ireland is a new and developing professional network organisation for those specialising in English for Academic purposes in Ireland, and the EAP community worldwide. It offers a platform to develop and reflect the vibrant EAP community of shared practices and research within individual institutions of all levels of education.       Building recognition and visibility of EAP, as well as highlighting the key contributions and requirements for EAP within each educational environment, is a key aim of this national teaching and learning initiative. The development of a variety of approaches to EAP for all subjects, through collaborative partnerships with educational organisations, is a core value of EAP in Ireland, as well as training, accreditation, conferences and collaboration.
