Over recent years, English language teaching has undergone considerable change shaped by a variety of factors including individual needs, learning styles, cultural values, multiculturalism, and digital innovations. However, pathways to success in teaching English to ESL and EFL learners can be a challenging task as there is no specific language teaching formula that suits learners in all contexts. It should be incumbent on individual teachers to be aware of academic developments within the field of ELT in order to apply different teaching approaches appropriate for their students. Insights into these academic developments will not only broaden our knowledge of English language teaching in the digital age but also provide a valuable forum for all participants to gain understanding of various issues in ELT through academic exchanges and discussions.
