Professor Dr. Budsaba Kanoksilapatham, English Department, Silapakorn University, Thailand

If you are in the field of English Language and Linguistics, you might have heard her name, Professor Dr. Budsaba Kanoksilapatham from Silapakorn University. With expansions of English Language Teaching in Thailand, she has her several articles published locally and internationally to alert English language teachers in Thailand. Talking about her academic background, she received her high school education from Triam Udom Sueksa School, B.A. degree in English with honors from the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, M.A. degree in Linguistics and EFL from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and Ph.D. degree in Linguistics (Concentration: Applied Linguistics) from Georgetown University, USA.

In 2012, Professor Dr. Budsaba reached her highest academic achievement when she was appointed as a full professor. In addition to her work at Silpakorn University, Professor Dr. Budsaba has provided academic services to other academic organizations both within Silpakorn University and outside. Internationally and nationally, she has served as a member of various academic committees. With outstanding and extensive devotion to her academic work in linguistic and ELT research achievements, the Thailand Research Fund (TRF) has appointed her as a TRF senior research scholar and provided her with a TRF Research-Team Promotion Grant (2015-2018).
